A delightful early 19th century fisherman's cottage at the water’s edge, in a sunny south facing position with direct views over the harbour and estuary towards East Portlemouth and South Pool Creek. The cottage has been the second home of the present owners since 1985. As one of the older properties in Salcombe, the construction of our Salcombe Holiday Cottage provides a warm environment in winter and a cool interior in summer - great for holidays at any time of the year.
The property is situated within a few minutes level walk from the centre of the village with its restaurants, village shops and other amenities including a ferry service to the sandy beaches.
Meticulously maintained, this property is a beautifully renovated Grade II listed early 19th century property tastefully and stylishly decorated to preserve the character of the property. There are original works of art by well known artists hanging throughout.

Central heating radiator, antique oak gate-legged dining table which seats at least 6 people. Fully equipped with Iron and ironing board, a wide range of glasses, crockery and cooking utensils. Master Bedroom:
Magnificent estuary views, 6 ft double bed or 3ft twin beds, vanity unit with washbasin, large hanging cupboard, hairdryer. Central heating radiator with towel rail (towels and bed linen supplied).
Bedroom 2:
2 tier, 3ft bunk beds (suitable for adults or children), built-in wardrobe, hairdryer, Mothercare travel cot which can be used in bedroom 2 or in the Master bedroom (bed linen not supplied for cot). Central heating radiator. Bed linen and towels.
Bathroom:
Bath, w.c., handbasin, heated towel rail, new walk-in shower cubicle.
Outside:
Sheltered slate paved patio with teak bench, table and chairs/steamer chair also shrubs and pots of geraniums. An ideal suntrap having direct views over the main anchorage. Exterior light. Pontoon berth at our reserved space on Victoria Quay pontoon by arrangement with the Harbour Master (who charges £69 per week for a vessel up to18 ft long).
