Will of Martha Agutter

of Northampton, Northamptonshire attested 23 Feb 1782

In the Name of God Amen I Martha Agutter of the Town of Northampton in the County of Northampton Spinster do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give and bequeath to Sarah and ffrances Agutter the two Daughters of my Brother Paul Agutter fifty pounds each and to my Nephew William Agutter Son of my late Brother Guy Agutter one hundred pounds and to Sarah the Wife of William Bliss of Welford in the said County of Northampton Shoemaker ten Pounds which several Legacies I direct to be paid by my Executor herein after named at the end of six Months next after my decease And I give and bequeath to my three Brothers Hillersdon Agutter John Agutter and Paul Agutter and my three Sisters Ann Agutter ffrances Morris and Catherine Agutter my two hundred and fifty pounds Bank Annuities purchased in the Year One thousand seven hundred and eighty one and now standing in the Company’s Books in my Name or in Trust for me In Trust only that my said Brothers and Sisters or the Survivors or Survivors of them or the Executors or Administrators of such Survivor of them do from time to time pay apply or dispose of the Interest and Produce thereof towards the Maintenance of my Nephew Paul Agutter Son of my late Brother Guy Agutter for and during his ife and from and after his decease I give my said Bank Annuities equally to and amongst my said Brothers Hiilersdon Agutter and John Agutter and my said three Sisters Ann Agutter ffrances Morris and Catherine Agutter All the rest and residue of my Personal Estate of what nature or kind soever that I shall die possessed of interested in or in any ways intitled to after Payment of my Debts Legacies and ffuneral Expences I give and bequeath equally and amongst my three Brothers Hillersdon Agutter John Agutter and Paul Agutter and my three Sisters Ann Agutter ffrances Morris and Catherine Agutter And I do nominate constitute and appoint my said Brothers Hiilersdon Agutter and John Agutter sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament contained in two Sheets of Paper set my Hand and Seal, that is to say, to the first Sheet my Hand and to the last Sheet my Hand and Seal this twenty third day of ffebruary in the twenty second Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain and so forth And in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two Martha Agutter
