This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard DAWSON of Boldron in the County of York Carpenter made this the Twentieth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty seven After payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath all and every my real and personal estate of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever situate unto my wife Frances DAWSON for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise all that my messuage or Dwellinghouse situate on the South in which my son George now resides with the Garden running in the front of it and Coalhouse thereto belonging unto my son Richard DAWSON his heirs and assigns for ever but charged and chargeable with the payment of the Sum of Twenty pounds to my son John DAWSON and to be paid six months after the decease of my said Wife I give and devise to my daughter Margaret DAWSON the middle messuage or Dwellinghouse with the Garden running in front of it and Coalhouse thereto belonging for and during her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same to my Son Jonathan DAWSON his heirs and assigns for ever I give devise and bequeath all that my messuage or Dwellinghouse situate on the North end and adjoining to the said last mentioned messuage or Dwellinghouse and also all that other messuage used as a Workshop Coalhouse and the Garden running in the front of my said Dwellinghouse Sawpit and all and every my Work tools used in my said trade as a Carpenter unto my son George DAWSON his heirs and assigns for ever but charged and chargeable with the payment of the sum of Twenty pounds to my son Thomas DAWSON and to be paid six months after the decease of my said Wife I order and direct that each of my said Dwellinghouses be entitled to the use of the Privy I give and bequeath all and every my household furniture (except the fixtures now in the several Dwellinghouses and which I devise and bequeathalong with the respective Dwellinghouses) unto my Daughter Margaret DAWSON absolutely And as to the rest residue and remainder of my said real and personal Estate I give devise and bequeath the same unto between and amongst all my said Children in equal shares and proportions and I hereby appoint my said Sons Richard DAWSON and George DAWSON Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year first before written
