Will of Susannah Finley

In the Name of God Amen I Susanna Finley of Boldron in County of York Spinster Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say, I Give and Bequeath unto my Nephew Robert Wardale of Boldron aforesaid in the County of York the Sum of Eight Pounds.
Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Sister in Law Alice Wardale the Sum of Three Pounds, but if she should happen to die before her said Legacy shall be due, then and in such Case her said Legacy of three pounds shall go to my Executor and Executrix hereinafter Named
Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Neice Mary Newton Wife of Jonathan Newton of Boldron aforesaid in the said County of York Gentleman the Sum of Three Pounds
Also I Give and Bequeath unto John Newton, Son of my said Nephew and Neice Jonathan Newton and Mary Newton the Sum of Five Shillings,
Also I Give and Bequeath to Robert Wardale and Thomas Wardale Sons of my said Nephew Robert Wardale the Sum of Five Shillings apiece,
All which Legacies shall be paid by my Executor and Executrix at the End of Twelve Months next after my decease.
And also my Will is That if any of my Household Furniture shall be left and remaining at the decease of my said Executor and Executrix, the same shall go and be equally divided amongst my Three Neices Daughters of my said Executor and Executrix share and share alike,
And also it is my Will, That if any part of my other Real Estate be left and remaining at the Death and decease of my said Executor and Executrix, then and in such case the same shall go, and be Equally Divided amongst my said three Neices and my Two Nephews Sons and Daughters of my said Executor and Executrix,
And I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint my Brother Jonathan Wright of Denton in the County of Durham Yeoman and Ann his Wife Sole Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, they paying all my Funeral Expences and all my just Debts whatsoever,
And I do hereby make Void and disannul all former and other Will or Wills by me at any time or times heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Twenty Fourth Day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in her presence and at her request, and in the presence of each other have hereunto Subscribed our Names as Witnesses, the Words Alice Wardale being first Interlined

The condition of the within written Obligation is such that if Susannah Smith Wife of the above bound Henry Smith a Legatee named in the last Will and Tesament of Susannah Finley late of Boldron in the parish of Startforth in the Archdeaconry of Richmond Spinster deceased (which said Susannah Smith was formerly Susannah Wright one of the Daughters of Jonathan Wright and Ann his Wife sole WEx[ecut]or and Ex[ecu]trix named in the said last Will and Testamentof the said Susannah Finley but who severally departed this life in the life time of the said Susannah Finley (dec[eas]ed) do well and truly execute this last will and testament of the said Susannah Finley dec[eas]ed and do likewise administer the Goods and Chattels and credits according to Law etc etc
