I Thomas Richardson of Northfield in the Parish of Startforth and County of York Gentleman do make Publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following In the first place I order and direct all my Just Debts and the Legacys by me bequeathed shall be paid out of my Personal Estate by my Executrixes hereinafter named and I do give and Devise unto my Three Sisters Jane the Wife of George Heslop Isabel Richardson and Margaret Richardson All and singular my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments situate at Northfield aforesaid Bowes Boldron and Pearson Moor or else where in the County of York To Hold the same unto them the said Jane Heslop Isabel Richardson and Margaret Richardson their Heirs and assigns for Ever as Tennants in Common and not as joint Tennants the said Jane Heslop to take the said Estate for her sole and separate Use without the controal or Claim of her said Husband
I give and bequeath unto my Nephew John Heslop the sum of Twenty Pounds to be paid to him upon his attaining his Age of Twenty One Years and
I give and bequeath unto my Neice Hannah Thompson the sum of Fifty Pounds to be paid to her upon her attaining her Age of Twenty one years
And my Mother Hannah Richardson being intitled to her Dower and Thirds at Common Law out of all my said Real Estate in case such Dower and Thirds shall not at any time amount to the clear sum of Twenty Pounds yearly in such case I do order Will and direct that my Executors shall and do out of the rents of my Real estate or out of the Produce of my Personal pay to my said Mother during her Life yearly such sum of money as with the yearly amount of such said Dower and Thirds will make up the clear yearly sum of Twenty Pounds
And as to all my Personal Estate undisposed of and the residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever I give and bequeath the same unto my said three Sisters Jane Isabel and Margaret share and share alike and I do appoint them Joint Executors of this my Last Will and Testament I hereby revoaking all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time made
In Witness whereof I have hereto sett my hand and seal this eleventh day of May in the year One thousand seven hundred and seventy five
