Will of Mary Abnet

I Mary Abnet of Great Neston in the County of Chester Widow do make this my last Will and Testament in writing in the following manner that is to say in the first place I do order the payment of my debts funeral expences the charges of the probate hereof in the next place I order my Executrixes hereinafter named to pay and apply the sum of three hundred pounds put out at interest by me as being one of the Executrixes named in the last Will and Testament of my late father Samuel Williamson deceased to and for the purposes mentioned in his said Will I give and bequeath as follows (that is to say) to my niece Mary Davies Wife of William Briscoe Davies of Great Neston aforesaid Shop Keeper the sum of one hundred pounds to my Niece Margaret Edwards of Park Gate Widow the sum of one hundred pounds to my Niece Mary Green Wife of James Green of Liverpool the sum of one hundred pounds to my Niece Ann Greetham Wife of Charles Greetham the sum of one hundred pounds to my Niece ffrances Williamson of Chester Spinster one hundred pounds I give and bequeath to my Trustee the above named William Briscoe Davies his executors and administrators the sum of one hundred pounds in trust to be put out to interest on good security or in the purchase of Stock in any of the Public funds and the interest or produce to arise therefrom to pay the same to my Niece Alice Byrne the Wife of James Byrne of Liverpool in the County of Lancaster Mariner which I give to her for her own separate use and benefit without the intermeddling of her present husband or in any way subject or liable to his controul debts or engagements and her receipt alone shall be a sufficient discharge to my said Trustee for the payment of the same to her and it is my further will and mind that after the death of the said James Byrne that my said Trustee do and shall pay the said one hundred pounds to my said Niece Alice Byrne or to such other person or persons as she shall in any way direct or appoint to receive the same I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said Trustee William Briscoe Davies his executors and administrators the sum of one hundred pounds in trust to be put out to interest by him to be put out to interest on good security or in the public funds and the interest or produce thereof to pay the same to Mary the Wife of one Charles McCartley (unknown to me) she being the Daughter of my late Niece Elizabeth Litler Widow such interest or produce I give to be paid to her the said Mary McCartley for her own use and benefit during the term of her natural life without the intermeddling of her present husband or being subject or laible to pay his debts or engagements in any wise and her receipt alone shall be a compleat discharge to my said trustee and after the death of the said Mary McCartley it is my will that the said interest of the said one hundred pounds shall be paid and applied for the benefit of such Children Children of the said Mary McCartley as shall be living at her death and in case of her death without issue or such Child or Children shall not arrive to the age of twenty one years respectively and be entitled to receive their proportion of the said one hundred pounds then I order the same to sink into the Residue hereafter bequeathed and go accordingly And as for and concerning the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects Real or Personal I give devise and bequeath the same as follows one fourth part thereof to my Niece the said Mary Davies one other fourth part thereof to my Niece Margaret Edwards one other fourth part thereof to my said trustee his executors and administrators in trust for the use of my said Niece Alice Byrne to be paid to her in the like manner and upon the same trust as hereinbefore expressed of and concerning the said one hundred pounds which I have hereby before given to her and the other remaining one fourth part thereof I do also give to my said Trustee as aforesaid in trust for the use and benefit of the said Mary McCartley to be put out at interest with the said one hundred pounds before left for her use in trust and under and subject to the like use and purposes above expressed and declared concerning the said one hundred pounds and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said several Nieces Mary Davies Margaret Edwards and Alice Byrne Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Mary Abnet have to this my last Will and Testament which is contained in three sheets of paper set my hand and seal this third day of June in the year of our Lord God one thousand eight hundred and seven and in the forty seventh year of the reign of his Majesty King Goerge the third Mary Abnet
