In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Alderman of Lineham in the County of Wilts Innholder being in sound and perfect mind and memory praised be God for itt doth this seventeene day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one: Make this my last will and Testiment in manor and forme following
I Give to my Grandson Edward son of my son in law Edward Hammonds all my Lase hold Hows and Goods and Stock wherein I now doth live to him after my deceace keeping my Hows and Goods in rapair during the time till my Grandson James Aldrman son of my son Thomas Aldrman deced shall ateine his Twenty first yeare in full to be Complated and Ended
Now my will is that my Grandson Edward Hammonds do live in the same publick way to have my stock praised sooone after my decease and the sume Value to be lafte on the priemises at the End of his tarme of holding the same
My Will is that after my Grandson James Aldrman shall ateine his Twenty first yeare as aforesaid Then to hold and Injoy the same as long as my right and title continue therein paying his Three brothers Ten shellings a yeare each that is William John and Edward
My will is that my Grandson John Aldrman be putt a prentice by my Grandson Edward Hammonds at the Ague of Fourteene years and to pay him the yearly Sum of one pounds Ten Shellings during his prentice Sheep and to pay my other Three Grand Sons William James and Edward Aldeman Ten Shillends a yeare eech during his Title in the how as aforesaid
Now my will is that Edward Hammonds my Grandson by my full and hole Executor by this my Last Will to pay my debts funerall Expences and all and all other things as above written
