In the Name of God Amen I Isaac Vandebeck in the Lordship of Thorney in the Isle of Ely and County of Cambridge Husbandman being weake of body but of sound and perfect memory do make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament ffirst I recommend my Soul into the hands of Christ my Redeemer and my body to be decently interred at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And as for the Worldly Goods it has pleased God to bestow upon me I give and bequeath in manner and form following Imprimis my Will is that an Inventory be taken of all my Goods and Chattells and after my just Debts be paid (if my dear Wife Rebecca be not now with Child) I give and bequeath One halfe of what I am worth to her and the other halfe to my son John Vandebeck to be paid him when he shall attaine to the Age of one and Twenty years my further Will is that my Wife shall Educate and maintaine my said Son at her proper Cost and charge but if it should happen that my said Wife should be with Child at my decease then my Will is that my Goods and Chattells shall be divided into three equall parts One Third Part to my Wife Rebecca One Third Part to my Son John Vandebeck and the other Third Part to the Child She now goes withall to be brought up and Educated as the other above mentioned And his or her fortune to be paid when he or she shall attaine to the Age of one and Twenty years And if my said Wife shall marry againe my Will is that the Guardians for my Child shall take Security as they shall think convenient or upon refusal to call in their ffortunes I do constitute and appoint my loveing Wife Rebecca Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and do desire my loveing ffriends John ffovargue John Sumpter and my brother John Vandebeck Guardians and Trustees for my Child or Children And I declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Isaac Vandebeck to these presents have hereunto set my hand and seale this fifteenth day of April Anno Domini 1719 Isaac Vandebeck
