Memorandum that I Mary Apelby of Lartington in the county of york Widdow doe hereby declare that I doe give and bequeath unto my Neece Dorothy Dale All my Pewther (the stille or Limbeck, the Quart Potte and Pottle Potte excepted, which I doe give unto my Nephew Francis Apelby, that they may remaine with my husbands house, also I give unto my s[ai]d Nephew Apelby all my Brasse=weights for the same purpose; I give unto my s[ai]d Neece Dorothy Dale that paire off sheets now lying upon my owne bed and also my great Trunk which Pewther sheets and Trunk I doe give her, besides the bedding and whatsoever else I have given her by my Will, I give unto my Neeces Mary Apelby and Margaret Apelby the daughters off my s[ai]d Nephew Francis Apelby each of them a Gold ring, I give unto Margaret wife of Ambrose Apelby the Smith that Featherbed Bolster and Mattris with one paire of Course Sheets , three blanketts, one Happing and one Coverlett now lying upon the Trunlebed in my owne Chamber, I give unto Jane the wife of Will[ia]m Lee of Cragge one paire off Course Sheets I give more unto my Neece Dorothy Dale my silke=gowne and satten=Pettycoate, I give to my Servant Mary Ward my Tammylett=gowne and redde Petty coate, I give to Bessy Nateby my greene Pettycoate, I give to Anne Solby one Lawne Handkercher, neckcloath and cuffs, a Smock and an apron, I give to Bessy Race A neckcloath, Gorgette and Cuffs, Smoc and apron, I give to Grace Dixon a Handkercher, Neckcloath a Cuffs, Smock and apron, I give more unto my Neece Dorothy Dale (whoe hath very lovingly helped mee in all occasions and noe siti[?]) my Best Gorgette and paire of Cuffs, Neckcloath Smock and Apron, I give to the s[ai]d Mary Ward my next best Gorgette, Cuffs, Neckcloath, Smock and Apron, I give to Anne the wiffe of Robert Parkyn my Morning Coate, I give to Anne the daughter of John Stephenson the gowne that I doe now weare, I give to Cosin Margaret Dale wife of my cosin Thomas Dale all my Linnen yarne, I give unto Mary the daughter of my Cosin Philipp Brunskell my wrought purse, I give to Anne Dudley and her sister Mary Baimbrigge each of them five shillings Memorandum that all these particular gifts or legacies abovemenc[i]oned by Mee given or bequeathed to all or any of the persons abovenamed in this my Will or writing are noe way in derogac[i]on of my Will or writing, in which other things are contained, and legacies given to some of the person or persons herein named, and also my Executor is therein by Mee named and appointed, but they are given either in augmentac[i]on or explanac[i]on off my true meaning and intenc[i]on, In witnes whereoff I have hereunto sette my hand the eleaventh day of March in the year of our Lord 1663
